to tastechocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish
as neededice cubes
Instructions
Start by brewing a strong cup of coffee. Once brewed, let it cool completely—this can be done ahead of time by placing it in the refrigerator to chill.
In a small bowl or container, combine the cocoa powder and granulated sugar. Gradually mix in 2 tablespoons of hot water to create a smooth chocolate syrup. Stir thoroughly until there are no lumps.
In a pitcher, blend together the cooled coffee, milk, the freshly made chocolate syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir the mixture well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated and the syrup is well distributed throughout.
Take your tall glasses and fill them generously with ice cubes. Pour the rich, chocolatey coffee mixture over the ice, filling the glass nearly to the top.
Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top of each glass, allowing it to cascade beautifully over the sides.
For a café-worthy finish, garnish with either delicate chocolate shavings or a light dusting of cocoa powder to enhance both flavor and visual appeal.
Notes
Serve with decorative straws and consider adding a small chocolate piece on the side.
