Ingredients

3 cups frozen hash browns, thoroughly thawed

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

6 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1 cup fresh spinach, roughly chopped

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup bell pepper, diced (any color)

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish (such as chives or parsley)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This helps ensure that your quiche cooks evenly and the crust becomes crispy.

In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, grated Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Using your hands or a spatula, mix well until the hash browns are evenly coated with the other ingredients.

Transfer the hash brown mixture into a greased 9-inch pie dish. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides to form a uniform crust. Make sure it is compact to hold the filling.

Bake the hash brown crust in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until it turns golden brown and crisp to the touch. Once done, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes.

While the crust is cooling, crack the eggs into a large bowl and whisk together with the whole milk until fully combined. Add salt, pepper, dried thyme, and smoked paprika, mixing until well incorporated.

Carefully fold in the chopped spinach, halved cherry tomatoes, and diced bell pepper into the egg mixture, ensuring all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Pour the vibrant egg and vegetable mixture over the pre-baked hash brown crust, spreading it out evenly.

Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is fully set and the top has a light golden hue.

Once baked, remove the quiche from the oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing into wedges.

                    Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour | Servings: 6-8

                      - Presentation Tips: For an inviting presentation, serve each slice on individual plates garnished with freshly chopped herbs such as chives or parsley for a touch of color. For a well-rounded meal, pair the quiche with a light side salad or steamed asparagus. Enjoy the delightful flavors of spring in every bite!
